Recommended Ideal Loadout Mechanics
How MFA searches, evaluates and ranks deterministic operational fracture plans.
What “ideal” means
The highest-ranked deterministic fracture plan found within the selected recommendation-resource limits, minimum safety margin and optimization objective.
What is physically present now.
Types and maximum quantities MFA may plan with.
Post-recommendation deployment confirmation.
Every candidate is evaluated by MFAV535.
Resource pool
ARGO MOLE Max 1 MISC Prospector Max 2 Drake Golem Max 1
Unchecked means maximum zero. Per-type caps and Max Fleet are both enforced. Actual Fleet Planner quantities do not alter these limits.
Duplicate-vessel specialization
Two identical vessels may now use different deterministic variants. Equivalent permutations are removed.
Prospector #1 — Primary / Breaker Prospector #2 — Backup A / Stabilizer
Operational metrics
Recommended vessel hull count.
Prospector/Golem = 1 each; MOLE = pilot + active mining stations.
Total active recommended heads/systems.
Active-module uses plus gadget use.
Safety margin
Default Alpha floor: 10%.
- SAFE MARGIN — viable and meets the floor.
- THIN MARGIN — viable but below the floor.
- NOT VIABLE — fracture fails.
Objectives
- Balanced operations: safety → operators → hulls → instability → consumables → margin.
- Minimum hulls: safety → hulls → operators → margin → instability.
- Minimum crew: safety → operators → hulls → margin → instability.
- Maximum margin: safety → margin → hulls → operators → instability.
- Minimum instability: safety → instability → hulls → operators → margin.
- Minimum consumables: safety → consumables → hulls → operators → margin.
Why MOLE is not always operationally cheapest
1 × MOLE using 3 stations Hulls 1 · Operators 4 · Heads 3 2 × Prospector Hulls 2 · Operators 2 · Heads 2
Minimum Hulls may prefer the MOLE. Balanced Operations or Minimum Crew can prefer a different plan depending on viability, margin and instability.
Fracture evaluation
Effective head power = raw head power × resistance transfer factor Total effective power = Σ effective head power Max breakable mass = 5 × total effective power
Ideal Loadout v2 changes the search and ranking layer only. The audited 4.10.1 fracture engine remains unchanged.
Objective alternatives
The selected objective produces the highlighted plan. MFA also retains materially different best plans for Balanced, Fewest Hulls, Fewest Operators, Highest Margin, Lowest Instability and Lowest Consumables.
Current Alpha boundary
Independent vessel specialization currently searches Primary / Backup A / Backup B deterministic variants. It does not yet exhaust every possible head/module permutation. The search remains deterministic and reproducible.
